Convalescing / Rehabilitation

If you are returning home after a stay in hospital or recovering after an accident, you may well benefit from having an extra pair of hands around. Our carers can come to you for as little as an hour or two in the day, to all-day, to help with meals, cleaning, paying bills or taking you to clinic or GP appointments.

Respite

We offer respite care to partners or other main carers. Caring for someone can put a great strain on relationships, so it is important that the main carer gets a break every so often to recharge their batteries and enjoy time on their own.

Companionship

If you live alone and don’t have family or friends nearby, you might like a carer to visit you just to have a nice chat over a cup of tea. If your eyesight isn’t so good, our carers can come and read a book or newspaper aloud to you. Perhaps you’d like someone to accompany you to the cinema, or to a social event – our carers can do this and some have cars, so they can drive you if it’s hard to get around on public transport.

Palliative Care

We offer care to people who are terminally ill. We tailor this care to meet each client’s particular needs.

Night care

  • Awake night service – we attend to people needing care throughout the night. This might involve turning the client to prevent pressure sores, help with incontinence or dealing with confusion or restlessness.
  • Sleeping night service – our carers can also sleep at the client’s house and be available when needed. A bed must be available for the carer.

Live In

Live-in care can be booked on a long-term basis or for short periods. Care is, where possible, shared between two carers to ensure continuity of service.

Testimonials from our clients.

“This is letter to tell you what a terrific home help Jana is. She is not just a floor cleaner, bed linen washer. She is also a massager and a plumber. She is my problem solver. Plus she always has a smile/…/Your agency has some terrific workers. For which I can’t express how relived I am.” MsIsla McCalman, Hampstead

“Thank you for providing such a reliable service”. Mrs Pool, Dartmouth Park

“I wish to thank Angela for arranging for Christina to care for Mihailo, also known as Misha, and for being flexible whenever we needed more hours. I would also thank Christina very much for her kindness, patience, dedication and reassurance. Having Christina to care for Misha was a great comfort to me when I had to go back to work, as I knew he was in good hands. Overall, we had a very good experience of care from your nursing team, and most of all, Misha was helped to feel as comfortable as possible/…/” Mrs Annie Beran
