Carers

We pride ourselves on having a team of Carers that is reliable, discreet, friendly and committed to the physical and emotional wellbeing of all Clients. Every Carer is trained to operate in a professional, dependable and confidential manner, and to show tact at all times.

With every Client's individual needs varying and every Client having their own, specific Care Plan, our Carers undertake a number of important duties. They include personal care, housekeeping, household cleaning and laundry duties. Carers can also prepare and cook meals, as well as helping the Client to buy everything needed to provide a balanced and stimulating diet. Carers are trained to create and maintain good communication with Clients – including Clients with communication difficulties. They also aim to develop good links with any family members in the Client's home.

We interview all prospective Carers face-to-face and carry out a full criminal records check with the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) before taking them on; we also ask for a minimum of two references.
