Key Personnel

Sherry French

Starting as a carer in 2003, Sherry French is now our most senior care manager. Mrs French holds a RMA (Registered Managers Award) and has worked closely with our owner Mrs Nadja Shaw, to create the values and the foundation which have formed essential parts of our ongoing growth and success. Mrs French now runs the Northwest care team, and is mainly responsible for our private clients. Together with our Receptionist Colette Strawberry she forms Hartwig Care Diversity and Equal Opportunities group. Mrs French is also a member of our dedicated Customer Service Committee.

Alina Iljina

Mrs Alina Iljina joined Hartwig Care in 2005. She is our finance manager and a member of our HR unit. She manages our accounts and is responsible for our invoice and payroll administration. With her excellent IT skills, Mrs Iljina is a valued member in our IT committee, which updates our website, our IT systems and ensures Hartwig Care invests to keep up to date with the latest technology. Mrs Iljina has completed elective courses Economics, Accounts and Business. Mrs Iljina is undertakes s a degree in Business with accounts and a further degree in Economics with marketing.

Marina Iljina

Marina Iljina is our In House trainer and Care Manager for Clients with special language requirements. Mrs Iljina is a qualified NVQ Assessor, a certified college teacher and in her role as our Health and Safety officer, she is currently completing her NEBOSH qualification. Mrs Iljina first contact with Hartwig Care was as a carer in 2003, and based on her teacher qualification in Human Health she successfully applied for the internally advertised position as In House trainer in 2005. Having a focus on Health and Safety and Wellbeing, Mrs Iljina chairs the Workplace and Wellbeing Committee, ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met and internal staff satisfaction is high.

Eloise Roberts

Eloise Roberts started her career in health and social care with Hartwig Care as an Office Manager in 2004, now four years later she has moved on to the role as Assistant Care Manager. Ms Roberts has extensive experience of working in health and social care, ranging from customer facing services to being a general social housing adviser. Eloise Roberts chairs our Customer Service Committee which monitors compliments as well as concerns, to ensure we comply with Best Practice.

Ayan Abdallah

Ayan Abdallah, a senior care worker since 2002 is now a part of our Northwest team. As one of two full time Care Coordinators, Ms Abdallah monitors the service provision in real-time, and handles day to day changes as and when our clients call. Ms Abdallah ensures we remain flexible to meet our clients' needs and wishes. Together with our In House Assessor, Marina Iljina, Ms Abdallah forms our Workplace and Wellbeing Committee, ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met and internal staff satisfaction is high.

Colette Strawberry

Colette Strawberry is our spider in the web. With four years experience in administration, IT and recruitment, she has mantled our front office role since the beginning of 2008. Ms Strawberry handles our reception, our recruitment process and juggles the training coordination. Ms Strawberry forms, together with our most senior Care Manager Sherry French, a part of Hartwig Care Equality and Diversity group, which communicates a zero tolerance of any discriminative behavior to our staff, reviews our Equal Opportunities policy, the recruitment process and the diversity of our workforce.

Gemma Watts

Gemma Watts, our most recent addition, joined Hartwig Care in March 2008. Ms Watts has taken up the role as Care Coordinator for our North & East team, to monitor the service provision and respond to changes that clients would like to have made. With her Degree in Psychology and Health, Ms Watts contributes with the most recent research in the Health discipline to our care teams and our Customer Service Committee as well as managing day to day operations.
